Website Basics

Websites can be as complicated or as simple as you choose. If this is your first website and you do not intend to market it, then a 5-6 page website is really all you need.

What basic pages should you have?

• A Home Page - This is the landing page, or very first page your visitor will see. It is the most important page, providing the fundamentals of what your business is about and displaying the menu 'doorway' to all other pages.
  
• Informational pages - 3-5 pages, depending on your business type. These pages will provide a description of what products or services you have available to them.
  
• Contact Page - This page provides them with the location of your business, business hours, and all necessary contact information.

Those are the most important. Optional pages can include pages such as an "About" page which offers a 'who you are' statement, and many more!
